Working on a fee basis

In individual cases medical locums are hired on a fee basis by our clients.

 

In these cases, the client makes a fee contract with the physician, meaning that the work of the physician is not allowed to contain activities which are subject to social insurance contributions or the physician is not subject to social insurance contributions for some other reason. 

Clients normally ask for a certificate from the German Pension Insurance Union confirming exemption from the obligation to pay social security contributions before they sign a fee contract.
